pain is good

2002-03-29-6:43 p.m.

I have all my fingers and toes, all my limbs are intact. I know this because they are all in immense pain.

Well, we accomplished everything we set out to so far. The yard hasn't been in this good of shape in probably 5-6 years. We're almost done, we just have to move a few plants, trim a few bushes (these aren't regular size bushes, they're like the Sears tower of bushes).

My freind Ty brought his friend Isabelle from Montreal yesterday afternoon. It was good to meet her and see Ty, I haven't seen the dude in a while. Or as we like to say here, "Hey, I ain't seen you in a minute!"

I don't know about Isabelle, I asked if they were going to catch an Avalanche game and she kind of grimmaced. I don't see how you can be from Montreal, Quebec CA. and not be semi-enthused about going to a hockey game. [shrug]

She's really nice though.

Dimitri has a soccer game today, he and his team are really coming together now. The coach is coaching well, I'm pretty happy. I wish they did a few more ball handling skills, but hopefully that will come.

On an odd note, they picked a name for their team. They all put names in a hat and picked one. Dimitri's won, they are now the "Graboids". What's a Graboid? It's freekin' from the movie "Tremors". I wish he wouldn't have done that, as he's the only one who knows what that is. The only reason I know is he brought the movie over here to watch it. His mom's mom buys the Tremors movies for him. Yet another thing I don't like as I feel those movies aren't fit for kids to watch. I wish Christine (Dimitri's mom) would stop letting him watch movies like that. Anyway, I talked to him about it last night, I told him he should've picked a name that all the kids would like and understand. I also threw in, "Those aren't movies kids should watch." I hope he understood all that.

At any rate, today soccer and more yardwork.

After about 2 cups of coffee and 800mg of Ibuprophen. (Drew, Ibuprophen is a pain reliever, similar to aspirin.)

I hurt.
