Update.

Yes. Another update. It's rare, but it's here.

Not a lot going on.

Yesterday we went to Red Rocks to see the Film at the Rocks series. Last night the band that played was Dressy Bessy. Those of you that download MP3, a good song is If You Should Kiss Her. The movies were Austin Powers 1 & 2. They showed them back to back.

There's something to be said about seeing a movie in this format.

1. There were about 7000 people there last night. Totally interactive crowd. Everyone cheered everything. It was cool.

2. There's no question the sound. They use the same set-up they did for the band, so basically it was rock show quality sound for the movie. (So good when Fat Bastard farted, you could feel it down deep in your soul.)

3. If you were wondering about the screen, it's about half the size of a drive-in screen. If you've never been to a drive-in, umm....go. [shrug]

4. You don't smell much weed at a movie theatre. One thing I don't do is drugs. But the people around me seemed to be quite thrilled with the aspect that they could watch the International Man of Mystery, stoned. Laughs abound.

5. Alcohol. They serve alcohol. Which translated to: Everytime Austin Powers danced, all the drunkards with no inhibition danced right along. heh.

All in all it was an enjoyable experience. The last show of the season is Gladiator with Opie Gone Bad (punk, ska, rock hybrid). Hopefully we'll get to go to that one.

If any of you are out here beginning of Sept., I invite you all to join in the fun.
