"Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get."
Ahhh...Mr. Gump, ever the philisophical genius. All I can say is at least you know it's chocolate right? The saying should've gone:
"Life is like a box of chocolates, with a few poo truffles thrown in...you never know what you're gonna get."
That's a more accurate philosophy.
Not that I'm complaining, my life is certainly more chocolate than poo. And when I do get the poo, it's usually not too bad of a poo....yeesh...bad analogy.
~Insert Digression~
I went to an old Italian deli the other day. I saw my friend's mother there. She didn't say anything to me, or I to her, but it was nice to see her all the same. I haven't seen her daughter in a long time, or talked to her, I really miss her. Hell, I really miss a lot of people.
Although, it's nice to be able to hear from and about people, good or bad, for the simple fact that even if you know they're not ok, you know they're around.
It's a comfort principle I've learned to accept, having so many friends so far away from me.
That's why I'm writing.
